CV Family, a B2B product and services organization in the Automotive industry, is a holding company of 11 related subsidiaries that provide insurances, maintenance plans, detailing, and key fob replacement services to name a few. They are rapidly growing through acquisition and such expansion requires robust internal processes, effective systems, and rigor for compliance.

 

The CHALLENGE

Even at $300M in revenue, the organization operated lean in their internal teams and lacked talent acquisition expertise. We were brought in to uncover an exceptional Chief Financial Officer to manage FP&A and Accounting operations for all 11 entities. This individual needed to be a licensed CPA with an Ivy league pedigree, bring M&A experience, an affinity for leading and growing a team, along with experience in financial systems implementation. Further, this CFO needed to be a confident communicator with charisma, local or willing to relocate to the Tampa or Orlando markets!

 

Our SOLUTION

We love a good challenge. This search kicked off with an in depth talent mapping exercise, targeting specific universities and experience managing finance departments for similar size organizations. We expanded the talent pool by including diasporic talent, those potentially willing to move back to Florida.
